Having Noticed Reddish Itchy Rash On The Scrotum

My 10 year old has developed a rash over the past few weeks in between his legs and one spot of it on his scrotum. It is a reddish bumpy rash that itches. I have tried diaper rash creams and anti itch husrocortizone creams as well as lotions. Could this be jock itc?

Hello
Thanks for query ,

Based on what you have described I would say that your son has Jack Itch as rightly suspected by you ..

Use topical anti fungal ointment like Mecanozole twice daily after washing his entire affected area with soap water twice daily .

Ensure to wash his inner wares in boiling hot water mixed with antiseptic solution like Dettol .

This will get cured within 5 days.
