Having Pain In Hip And Leg While Travelling. CAT Scan Shows Tumour Near Hip. Have To Lose Weight. Any Suggestion?

yes hi my mothers has been having pain traveling from her hip down the back of her leg and her doctor did a cat scan and they found a small tumor by her hip he told my mother to come back in 3 months and to work on losing some weight in the mean time my mother is 73 yrs old with a very good health records doesnt smoke also

I do not able to understand why he did so. If it is a tumour then we should removed as early as possible. I would suggest you to get a second opinion and also get MRI scan to know some more about this tumour. Whatever it is, should be removed as early as possible and get it biopsied.
