Having Pain In The Jaw. No Teeth Issues. Pain When Eating, Closing The Jaw. Cure For Symptoms?

i am having pain in my jaw, primarily if i clinch down it is very painful to do so. no throbing pain that i would expect if it was a tooth issue, this is located in my jaw, with no tooth sensitivity, but very painful. now today it is very painfull to try and completely close my jaw, almost unable to chew even soft food.

Welcome at HCM.

I have read details of your question.

It looks from your details that most probably you may be having TM arthritis.Pain on clinching & chewing are suggesting for this.You should do following to have relief-

-Consult to your dental doctor.

-Take a good analgesic like aleeve.

-Avoid chewing hard shelled foods.

-Your doctor may use steroid injection at TM joint to relieve your symptoms.
