Having Sinus Issues, Lumps On Forehead, Swelling Of Inner Eyes, Pressure In Ears, Nasally Stuffy. Started Nasal Steroid. Suggestions?
Hi, I’m 64, a well woman. I have had sinus issues and use a netipot regularly. Otherwise no other medical problems. A week ago I developed two lumps the size of large peas on my forehead. No redness or slight tenderness, located one above each eye. As well I have swelling of the inner eyes and under the eyes and pressure in the ears. The amount of swelling is dependent on which side I sleep at night. Swelling gets a little better during the day and its worse in the morning. I am nasally stuffy, no headache. I have been using an antihistamine called reactine and today I started a nasal steroid. Tonight, I feel like I may be coming down with a cold… chills. No fever. Any concerns? Anything else I could be doing? Thanks, Jen
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having ingrown infection of hair follicle. Infection and viral infection giving rise to cold, chills, head ache, stuffiness. Go for one antibiotic medicine course to cure infection. Take some decongestant tablet. Ok and take care.
