Having Two Periods In One Month. Not On Birth Control Pills. Normal?
Hi, I just ended my menstrual cycle on the 12th of this month. Today I started another period.. This hasn't happened before, well, in the past I've had two periods in one month, but I would start on the first and begin again at the very end and continue into the next month. Never only 12 days apart though, I'm not on any birth control, nor do I take anything to alter my cycles. Is this normal and what could this mean?
Once these investigations are conducted, we will be able to narrow down to the cause and accordinlgy recommend medication to help regularize your menstrual cycle. Please visit a doctor at the earliest for the same.
Hi Dear, Irregular and short periods can occur as a result of hormonal imbalance or some intrauterine pathology like fibroid uterus or polyp provided previous pregnancy has been ruled out. In my view, consult a gynae and get full examination and investigation including an usg or even a hysteroscopy

Having Two Periods In One Month. Not On Birth Control Pills. Normal?
Hello ma am. This is not normal and will have to be further investigated. Causes for the same could be numerous and thus I would recommend a transvaginal ultrasound, blood test tk check on hormonal levels and a pap smear. Once these investigations are conducted, we will be able to narrow down to the cause and accordinlgy recommend medication to help regularize your menstrual cycle. Please visit a doctor at the earliest for the same. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
