Head Injury. Soreness, Hurts To Chew On Left Side

slipped in the shower this morning and knocked my head pretty hard on the left side above my temple. I didn t pass out I was aware of exactly how it happend and I still remember. My head is sore where I hit it but I dont have a headache , i don t feel like I m going to throw up and I am not dizzy. But it kind of hurts to chew on the left side.

Hi,

the soreness you feel when chewing could represent bruising of the temporalis muscle which is one of the muscles involved in chewing. It may also indicate an underlying fracture of the jaw bone- thought he site of your pain seems to be well above it.
however, to be on the safer side it may be worthwhile to have yourself checked out in the nearest ER or A&E to make sure that it is only a simple bruising.

Hope this helps.
