Head Injury Due To Falling Object. Indentation, Soreness. Should I Be Concerned?

Hi,
I am 40 years old. Yesterday evening a fairly heavy beard trimmer fell out of the closet from the top shelf upon opening the door and hit me on the top of my head. It was quite painful. I think the pointed corner of the trimmer is what hit me. Today I am noticing an indentation and soreness in the very spot and am wondering if I should be concerned/see my doctor. Have ha no other symptoms that I've noticed. I concerned. Thank you!

Hi thanks for your question.
There is nothing to worry. However any trauma to head should not be taken lightly. You might have got small haematoma (collection of blood under skin) due to trimmer.Consult a general surgeon who may examine you to rule out any internal brain injury and may prescribe you antibiotics and analgesics anti inflammatory drugs for this haematoma.
Hope this answers your question.
