Head Injury, Stabbing Pain In Right Eye, Blurry Eye. Should I Be Concerned?

I hit my head VERY hard on a cabinet last night on the front right side of my head. It made a know that stood out about the size of a robins egg. I iced it for a little while and went about my business. I had a headache but knew that was likely when I hit my head. I slept well last night and woke up without any problems but today I have a horrible stabbing pain in my right eye and my vision is blurry in that eye. The knot has gone done to almost nothing. Should I be concerned and make an ER visit or just take some ibuprofen and wait to see if it resolves on it's own.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The stabbing pain in the right eye with burring of vision is suggestive of a damage to the internal structures. You need to go for an MRI scan for a proper diagnosis as this injury could be serious too.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
