Headache, Body Ache, Stomach Cramping, Nausea. Not Having Regular Bowel Movement. Any Stomach Virus Present?
3 days ago i started with a headache and small body aches and mild stomach cramping and some nausea . No vomiting or diahrrea. I am feeling a little better but can t each much of anything except tea, rice, water and dry toast. if i try to eat anything else, it makes me nauseous. i am not having a regular bowel movement . do i have some sort of a stomach virus? how long do these last?
A formal clinical examination is needed. A notion of any fever and taking of drugs against fever must be known. This guides towards thinking of an infectious or non infectious origin of symptoms. A complete blood count, measuring markers of i nflammation and stool examination and cultures could be very useful.
Irregular bowel movement evaluation shall need to know if this just started or has been going on for a long time. Changes in diet could affect bowel movements. Vegetable rich diets, fruit rich diets , enough drinking of fluids and exercise could be of help.
I suggest you consult your primary care physician for a complete clinical review.
Thanks and kind regards,
Bain LE, MD.
