Headache, Itching, Sensation, Heaviness In Eyes, Ear Even After Rhinoplasty. Suggestions?

Headache , Itching, sensation,heaviness in eyes and ear Sir i m 42 trs old male frm india ,i am having headche ,sensation ,itching ,heviness in eyes and ear after nose rhinoplasty surgey due to car accident last 8 yrs reson of this problems doctor said due to deviation in septum before 2 months doctors reconstruct nose rhinolasty but problem is as itis hardness in nose ,itching ,sensation in nose, left side pain between chest to head ,2 much headache .

Hi

Thanks for consulting H.C.M. regarding your medical problems.

I have gone through your query and it appears very un pleasant that that even after surgery you have headache, itching, sensation, heaviness in eyes .

here I would like to tell you that all these features are indicative of sinusitis, some times this sinusitis is allergic, in allergic sinusitis usually surgery does not help and better to treat such cases conservatively.

In your case I would like to tell you that if your symptoms are seasonal than take conservative treatment , but if it remains through out year than you should proceed for treatment of chronic allergy as-

1- Use topical steroidal nasal spray.

2- Sub mucous Hydro cortisone injection over inferior turbinate.

3- Coblation assisted turbinate reduction.

I hope these modalities of treatment will help you.
