Headache, Sickness After Taking Citraline For Depression. What Are The Side Effects Of Citraline?

Hi, I am a counsellor and have a client who has been on citraline for depression, I wondered what family it was attached to and what the side effects are please? she has taken herself off of the pills because she is unable to function as a lone parent of 3 with the side effects of bad headaches and sickness, is this a normal side effect?

Citralin is an antidepressant which works like SSRIs,. that is they increase serotonin levels.

I want you to know that they are not FDA approved nor reviewed or recommended.

So you are on your own if any thing happens to you. You wont be able to sue the company with that is States.

Here are some effects which Excessive serotonin can have. From most to least possible in percentages

>10%

Headache (20-25%)

Nausea (20-25%)

Insomnia (15-20%)

Anorexia (10-15%)

Anxiety (10-15%)

Asthenia (10-15%)

Diarrhea (10-15%)

Nervousness (10-15%)

Somnolence (10-15%)

1-10%
Dizziness (5-10%)

Dry mouth (5-10%)

Dyspepsia (5-10%)

Sweating (5-10%)

Tremor (5-10%)

Decreased libido (2-5%)

Abnormal taste (>1%)

Agitation (>1%)

Chest pain (>1%)
