Headaches, Cold Chills, Fever After Having Metforim HCL 500 Mg. Any Other Medication That Can Be Taken?

Hello I am on the metforim HCL 500 mg. since i have been on this medicine i have be having slight headaches,cold chills, slight fever,and feeling like my ear is trying to pop but it never does,but blood sugars are still high, so the dr. put me on 850 mg. tablets that made me have severe headaches ,dizzy spells near passing out felt dilusional, Is there any kind of medicine i can have i am on a few differant medicines,also makes my anxiety level up.

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you mentioned that there is headache and dizziness , delusion after 850 mg metformine.
Note down the side effects of Metformine as,
anorexia, nausea, diarrhea, palpitation, headache, chills rashes, flushing, chest discomfort.
In my opinion metfomine is not fit for you , so please consult your treating doctor and discuss all thing and side effects with him, he may change tablet.
However these symptoms may be due to other drugs , so mention all drugs in next query.
