General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

In such cases when treatment brings no benefits, laparoscopic surgery might be a remedy for you. Such surgery is performed with a camera and tools inserted into the abdominal cavity throughout small holes and diaphragm gets sutured. Before surgery it is necessary to perform 24-hours esophageal pH monitoring needs to be performed.
So if you find medicines are not helping at all, you should visit a surgeon.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
