Hemorrhoids Hurts During Bowel Movement, Anus Sore, Eating Fiber, Lots Of Water. Can Use Enema, Anal Suppositories?
Yes I just turned 49 and to my surprise.. I have a case of hemorrhoids.. it hurts when I have a BM. and my anus is very sore and my symptoms started this past Sunday. I have been eating a ton of fiber like whole grain cereals and breads, and drinking a ton of water.. I also have been soaking in a hot tub each day for about 20 mins or so..also have been using OTC creams and witch hazel... and also taking Aleive for my pain. Should I give myself an enema?..or use anal suppositories?..Help needed here in New Mexico.. Carla
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since you are saying that you are having hemorrhoid ? If diagnosis is certain then need not to do any enema or suppository . In my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion as physical examination is very important. In many cases I have noted so many times , hemorrhoids with fistula in anus ( causing severe pain ) . This fistula in anus develop intense pain . So consult a surgeon and get his opinion. Good luck. Dr. HET
