High BP, Arthritis In Spine. Taking Acetaminophen. Help

I m 68, 5 9 tall, 198 lbs., daily stress at home, Just layed off from work (wasw working 2 days a week), that I liked. My BP has been high for several years, about 152/89 occasionally 172/93, not uncommon (even while taking four BP meds). I am constantly in pain/discomfort, severe (Kaisers word) arthritis in my spine with numerous other back and neck issues (verified by MRI s). I take nothing for the pain/discomfort other than an occasional 325 mg or 500 mg Anecetaminophen I m not a lay around person. Are high energy people to have the same target BP (120/80) as low energy people at my age? Part of my frustration is that I dont think that I will ever reach (on a regular basis) 120/80 or the sometimes posted 139/89. Where is the target that I can realistically hope (under my circumstances) to hit? Is it just more pills and more pills until I lay around lathargically and hit a charted target. Oh yes, I don t drink or smoke either, though a bit more exercise may help me. Help!

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
Sir, you became little over conscious, taking your BP in account, Blood goes on varying from time to time, and variation is depend upon so many thing like your diet taken at the time of reading it, climate, mental condition, drug history, position of patient, either sitting standing or supine, left arm right arm, medical history, etc. 120/80 is ravage figure and may be differ from person to person, diastolic pressure is great concern and must go beyond 90 mm/hg....one thing is very much important and that is BP instrument it must be highly precise, standard, Hg based instrument is authentic one, have nice day.
