High BP, Taking Lisinopril, Metoprolol. Sudden Fall In Blood Pressure. Due To Aspirin Taken For Headache?
I have high blood pressure and take 40 mg lisinopril HCTZ once daily along with 100 mg metoprolol twice daily. My blood pressure usually runs about 117 over 76. I haven't felt well today and took my blood pressure a few minutes ago. It was 85 over 49! I had my husband take his to be sure the cuff wasn't malfunctioning and his was fine. I took 2 aspirin earlier today for a headache. Could this have caused my blood pressure to have fallen this low?

Aspirin does not have any effect on blood pressure.
You have to go for bp measuring regularly.
There might be some fluctuation in bp,lowering effect might be due to current medicines.
Kindly report to your treating doctor to review about current medicines and start further medicines under his guidance.
You can take lemon water with salt,sugar meanwhile.
