Hello,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Dengue affects not only the liver ( raised sgpt) but the musculoskeletal system as well as circulating platelet( type of blood cells). In the second week of illness there is a high risk of platelets dropping to below normal ( 1.5 to 4.5 lacs is normal) , which can result in unexpected bleeding.
Also it's best to delay vigorous exercise for atleast a couple of weeks to avoid any pulmonary or musculoskeletal complications. With raised sgpt any alcohol intake would further jeopardize the liver function .
Hence kindly consult your doctor for fitness approval before resuming to the previous routine.
Hope I have answered your query .
Wishing you good health .
Regards
