High Cortisol And DHEA-S Levels. Jawline Acne, Irregular Periods. Fibroid In The Uterus. What Is The Treatment?

I used to have consistently high cortisol levels but recent tests show it is now in the normal range, however, it also showed that my DHEA-S levels were elevated (9.1 umol/L) but other hormone levels were within normal range. Because I developed jawline acne and irregular periods, a pelvic ultrasound with endovaginal scan was done, finding no evidence of PCOS, but it did find "posteriorly, is a fibroid of 1.8 cm. The endometrial echo is 7 mm". My doctor didn't seem to concerned but the DHEA-S levels are quite high aren't they? What should my next step be? Is there anything that can be done to lower it? (I am 35 yrs old)

Hello. In endovaginal ultrasound only appeared a small fibroid,is not important.Probably your levels of androgens (male hormones)
are high-because you have acne and elevated DHEA level-.
A pill whose components are cyproterone acetate and ethinylestradiol is the most commonly used drug for this condition, also improve your irregular periods .Please consult your local gynecologist for a prescription .
I wish you good health.
