Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your wife is having 1% glucose in urine and Hb 9.1gm% which is on lower side,Please check her FBS and PPBS urgently if her level are high that is Gestational Diabetes which needs to be treated with Insulin and diabetic diet, tight control of blood sugar level is required consult a Physician and take proper treatment.
She can have normal baby.but you should take very good care.
Please do not worry about baby it is not at all true that new born will be diabetic but care needs to be taken for mother's diabetes
Please also visit a Gynecologist to take Iron and vitamin supplements to corrects anemia.
Please take care

Diabetologist Dr. Amit Rajput's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for posting on healthcaremagic.

The chances of baby being born with diabetes, just because the mother is diabetic are very minimal. But if mother's diabetes is not treated, there are possibilities of complications in the baby during and after delivery.

Diabetes is usually is expressed late in pregnancy. You need to get your wife evaluated for diabetes by checking her blood glucose levels, as advised by her physician. You cannot rely solely on the urine glucose values.

Regards.
