Hips Popping Out While Walking, Shorter Leg Due To Scoliosis. X-ray Says Nothing Wrong. Whats Wrong ?
I have had problems with my hips popping out while walking, for several years. Over the last yr it has gotten so bad that I ve cried, missed work but when xray ed told there s nothing wrong. I have a small discrepency in height-the painful hip having the shorter leg due to scoliosis , am known to have double joints in both hips as well. Any ideas as to what is wrong and how to fix it?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The repeated popping out of the hips is due to a ligament or a labral tear. An MRI scan of the hip will help in proper diagnosis. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
