History Of Buttock And SI Joint Injury. Pain After Massage. What Can I Do?

Four and a half years ago, I fell down a flight of stairs injuring my left buttock and SI joint area. Pain was constant for 3 years (constant burning, nerve throbbing, etc.). Saw multiple doctors, including a pain specialist three months after the fall that gave me two injections directly into my glut. The injections made my injury far worse. Second MRI showed some white matter (didn't know what it was) but it wasn't on my first MRI. They said it had to do with the injection. Great. The last year the pain for the most part went away. It took over three years. Unfortunately, last week I had a massage and the therapist pressed his thumb right at the injection spot. It is now back to burning and knife-like pain. Kills me to think that this might take another three years to go away. Any idea what I can do, and why something like this never healed?

i have reviewed your case
if the SI joint area which is painful and tender(painful on pressing it) then an injection in the SI joint under x-ray guidance might help you.
however you need to check with pain specialist or spinal surgeon if this is the diagnosis.
if the recent MRI scan you had covered the SI joint then no need to repeat it.
