History Of Hip Fracture, Chest Tumor. Have Weight Gain, Diabetes, Drinking Problem. Help

try to get my diabetes under control and im having trouble because I have a drinking problem and im over weight I was in a very bad accident in 2011 I broke my hip split the ball in half the docters put me back together with screws but it didn't work I was in the hospital for 40 days because they also found a tumor in my chest thank god it wasn't cancer I lost 40 pounds in the past two years ive gained it back I need a hip replacement my a1c is 9.5w with im a risk and im working with the VA Here in Philadelphia

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Drinking problem, un controlled diabetes and weight gain.
Get done FBS, PPBS, renal function test and lipid profile and what are the drugs you are taking for diabetes. Diabetes and weight gain can be get under control with proper treatment, correct calorie input and exercises. Alcohol you should stop. If you can't then take help from the doctor. There are few safe drugs for management. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
