History Of Knee Injury. Now Sore Knee, Popping, Grinding. Difficulty Walking. What May It Be?
Hurt my knee a few years back on the dirt bike knee was swollen and warm. Went to doctors got an x ray they said it was all fine. They wanted to follow up with an mri and I never went because it seemed to get better. Now 5years later it s sore from day to day. And pop and grinds very loud. Sometimes it s to sore to walk on and then it goes away. I m 20 and ideas what it may be?
You should go for MRI Scan of knee joint. MRI is the investigation of choice for soft tissue injury. X-rays can detect only bony fracture and give rough idea about fat planes. MRI can detect ACL/PCL injury, meniscus injury, joint effusion etc. Mild to moderate injuries are treated conservatively whereas severe cases are treated surgically. Get well soon.
