Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.
The very fact that you are able to walk and run indicates that there is no injury to your bones.
The pain that you are getting from the knee could be due to injury to the intra articular structures like meniscus, cruciate ligaments or joint capsule etc.
To confirm these things, an MRI is essential.
I suggest you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for a detailed examination and advice.
Hope this helps

General & Family Physician Dr. Lohit K's  Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Reinjury to same area and now there is pain and skelling suggests injury to your ligaments or bone. Restrict your movements, get done one X-ray to rule out any fracture, apply crepe bandage for swelling and movement resrtiction, take NSAID with serratiopeptidase for pain and swelling and consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit
