Hi,
You had hysterectomy leaving the ovaries intact. so the hormonal cycle will continue till threr is hormonal menopause. ,
The premenstrual symptoms due to hormanal origine may remain till menopause.
The psychological compoeant of premenstrual symptoms( Specially tension) is seen to reduce after hysterectomy.
As hysterectomy is a major surgery, sufficient time should be given for body healing & return to health before you start sexual life. 3 to 6 months ( maximum possible) should be the abstinence after surgery.
Thanks.
