Hit Right Knee Due To Fall, Painful, Swollen Knee, Ankle. How To Get Relief?

I tripped and fell on concrete today. I hit my right knee hard on the asphalt and it was okay after I fell. I continued to work. Then I sat down later and it is awful and hurts to straighten it and bend it. There is swelling but my ankle is also swollen. I have been icing it. The stairs kill it and I have to go 1 at a time. What could I have done?

hi missturkot

Thanks for posting your query

You had injury over your right knee after fall on concrete.

Now at present your knee movement is painful & there also swelling present over your ankle.

so you might be having soft tissue injury over your right knee & ankle or it may be a fracture.

so a x-ray of right knee & ankle is required & treatment plan acc. to that.

Regards.
