How Can APO-Fluoxetine, Benztropine, Tecta And Teva-Olanzapine Side Effects Be Avoided?
hi my 18 year old son is on these following medications APO-Fluxetine 20 mg 2 times a day, Benztropine 2mg 1 time a day a, Tecta 40mg 1 time a day and Teva-Olanzapine 5mg 2 times a day. He is experiencing severval side effects that are listed with these drugs my family doctor will not listen to me about our concers what should we do? The other question I have is this cocktail safe for him
The olanzapine can affect the levels of the benztropine but this is the only interaction that is known. Other that this there are no issues with the combination of medication.
Unfortunately all medications have potential side effects but if the effects that he is experiencing are intolerable then you can speak to his doctor. If you are not happy with the response then you may need to consider consulting another doctor.
I hope this helps
