My sister is being released from the hospital today. She tested positive for sepsis due to kidney infeaction and C-diff. I will be taking care of her for the next few days. I will wipe down all surfaces, doorknobs, etc with bleach as well as wash all bedding. She will be taking vanclomycin orally. Is there anything else I should do or be aware of to prevent me from getting infected?

* My recommendations for the same
- Proper disinfection care of the room with fumigation timely.
-Personal care with hand hygiene, use of gloves each time touching patient and belongings.
- Use of face mask ( triple layer ).
- Maintenance of own hydration and balanced nutritious diet to combat the immunity.
- Immediately consult doctor if any signs of fever or other systemic problems.
