How Can I Cure Severe Constipation ?

severe constipation for last 2 months, in spite of taking naturolax - Issapgol husk powder and smuth capsules everyday. age 62 yrs, male, otherwise normal health, no diabetics or hypertension , digestion is good, no gastritis or pain in abdomen. only problem is hard stools and this problem was never there in the history

hello,

looking at your age, constipation is a common problem in geriatric people cz of reduced muscle tonicity. Isapgol is fiber supplementation.

My advice will be have min. 2 bowls of green raw-salad / leafy veg everyday. Drink min 2-3 lit of water supplemented with may be 25min. walk . continue Naturolax granules with water.

Do inform me results , if not working we can make further changes.

I advise you get checked for thyroid profile.Hypothyroidism can cause chronic constipation.Do you have bllod in stools? I would also advise you to visit Gastroenterologist as early as possible and get a complete check up done.
