Hello,

From what you have described, the problem is not your weight but your low appetite. At your age, when all the medical reports are normal and there is no chronic illness, poor appetite is usually the major reason one stays underweight. When the appetite is low, the body simply does not get enough calories to build muscles or store energy, even if you try "rich foods."

To be very forthright, these powders are not harmful, but they are not magic either. They only help if your daily calorie intake increases overall. If your appetite is already low, you may end up taking it for a few days and then stop because you feel full quickly. So I would not call it a “treatment.” It is just a calorie supplement. It works only when combined with proper food habits.

What usually works better in cases like yours are:
1. Take 5–6 small meals instead of 2–3 large ones. People with low appetite simply cannot tolerate big meals. Smaller meals help your stomach handle food gradually.
2. Include calorie-dense yet light foods.
Things like peanut butter, banana with milk, eggs, curd rice, paneer, nuts, and whole milk add calories without making you feel too full.
3. Look for hidden appetite problems. Sometimes, low appetite results due to very simple causes such as acidity, eating at irregular times, stress, or not sleeping well. Even if the tests are normal, these things can greatly affect hunger.

4. Light exercises actually increase one's appetite. Even 20–25 minutes of brisk walking or light strength exercises encourages the body to demand more food. Many thin patients notice increased hunger after just a week of regular activity.
5. Do not depend only on supplements.
Supplements, including Nutrigain, are all well and good, but your actual progress is derived from day-in and day-out food consumption and living style.
6. Where appetite is very poor, doctors do at times prescribe short-term appetite stimulants in the clinic, but only after having examined you properly.

I am unable to prescribe this here without having evaluated you in person. You don't need anything fancy. Consistency, small frequent meals, and a little exercise will bring back natural hunger. Nutrigain can be used, but it shouldn't replace food and it isn't going to work by itself. If even after the improvement in lifestyle, the appetite remains very low for 2–3 weeks, I would strongly recommend physically visiting a doctor so that they can check for digestion-related issues or subtle nutrient deficiencies.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further query I will be happy to help. Wish you good health.
