Hello,
Irregular periods or stoppage of periods occur due to hormonal issues, thyroid problems, anemia, secondary
amenorrhea, PCOS,
pregnancy, etc. You are suggested to get a routine clinical examination done to check your general health conditions. You may need to get some blood tests,
urinalysis, imaging tests done to detect the factor causing discomfort. You will be treated accordingly.
If you had been having unprotected sex and were not on any type of CP, you are suggested to have a urine test for pregnancy done to confirm whether you are pregnant or not. You can get it checked by a gynecologist. She may tell you to get a USG done. If you are not pregnant, you can take
Medroxyprogesterone for 7-10 days, once you stop taking the medicine you should get your periods.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
