Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 48 years. My TLS is 3200, Neutrophils-44, Lymphocytes-49, Eosinopihls-04, Monocytes-03, Abnormal Immeture Cells- nil, Platelets Counts-1.56 Lacs RBCs are normocytic-Normochromic. Q: Kindly let me know what risk I have with this picture & how TLC can be incresed.
Hi Sunil, TLC is moderately reduced and is borderline. It could probably be due to reduced vitamin B12 and folic acid. It is probably early stage of megaloblastic anemia, and thus supplemental vitamins maybe necessary. If you have any history of infections recently, it could have caused it. Improve your nutrition, with more protein in diet. It can also increase leukocytes count. Any further queries, happy to help again.
