I have a UTI. I have had them before so I know. I had a twinge of it this afternoon, but wasnt sure, but now Im really suffering and urninating blood. Is there something besides alot of water drinking I can do to relieve some of this urgency/pain until I can see my dr and get medication?

Hello,

You should take pain medication such as aspirin and Tylenol for a few days. Are you sure you do not have a kidney stone?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
