How Can A Boil On The Shoulder Be Treated?

Hi, I have a boil on my shoulder that seems to be working it s way to the surface. Sized similar to a quarter. No striations, just red and slightly warm. I ve been putting warm compresses on it. No head on it. Do I just wait and let it continue or do I go in to see a doctor? There s no pain. I do not have a fever.

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and I think you should consult a doctor and go for a consult of oral and topical antibiotics. Otherwise it might increase in size.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
