How Can A Broken Blood Vessel Under The Knee Cap Be Treated?

How do I treat a diagnosed Broken Blood Vessel under my knee cap.. Happened mid December. Much discomfort and pain until the end of January. I thought it was over and yard work Wednesday 4/12 caused swelling and much discomfort. I am talking Volterian but does not work to relieve discomfort and swelling. I think it is the Dec. Injury effecting this . The knee I an speaking about had Partial Replacement 3 years ago

These symptoms could be due to vascular occlusion
Colour Doppler may help in diagnosis.

CT angiography will be helpful.
