I have a ganglion cyst on the inside of my right wrist. It is about 3/4 “ by 3/4”. My doctor (PCP) after he diagnosed my issues he suggested I wear a ridged brace. Is not after helping after a week of wearing it. Am I expecting improvement to quickly? What is your opinion? My email is YYYY@YYYY .
Consult an orthopedician and get it excised. Nothing much to worry as it can be removed under local anesthesia. Keep in mind that there is always a chance for recurrence.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
