How Can A Laceration On The Scalp Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed for about 5 yrs now. I also have herniated discs at L5S1 level and had a kyphoplasty at L1 about 4 yrs ago to repair fix at that level sustained from n auto accident. I have sustained several falls, one of which caused a fall in which I tripped on a rug when leaving a restaurant. My head hit the edge of a metal door my husband was holding open for me. I sustained a severe laceration of the scalp from the top of my head down into eyelid with concussion and severe loss of blood. The ER Doc wrote in my paperwork that it was a NEA FATAL INJURY nd calld in plastic surgeon to do the repair AboutIt looks like I can t ask my question

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Nothing much to worry and the plastic surgeon is preferred because the wound is on the exposed part of the body and thin sutures and scar will be better. Nothing to worry as only the skin is involved and no intracranial injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
