Yes I have been diagnosed with a paralyzed right diaphragm happened sometime during a shoulder surgery, i am very active and am not able to get much air , and I have this constant feeling of fullness and upper chest gas, is there something I can do to help resolve this feeling?
Unilateral diaphragm paralysis is more common than bilateral disease and may be discovered incidentally on a chest radiograph.
Most patients with unilateral diaphragmatic paralysis are asymptomatic and require no treatment. If symptomatic patients may be treated with surgical plication of the affected diaphragm.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
