How Can A Perianal Abscess Be Treated In A Natural Way ?

Hi I am living overseas and in the last month for the very first time have suffered a perianal abscess it burst on it s own then the doc simply gave me antibiotics to take for two weeks (ciproflaxin) the culture swab said I had few bacteria of staphylococcus intermedius, after stopping antis 5 days later I m sitting here with another abscess in exactly the same spot the Gyno saw me this morning and says a surgeon needs to see it and that I cannot keep taking antis but that after surgery I will need more antibiotics ( that was completely contradicting :/) basically I do not want more antibiotics I m trying a more natural approach using turmeric & honey paste to see if it will come to a head and drain the thing is I m Absaloutly terrified as I stupidly googled my staph intermedius etc and they are basically saying I m on my death bed with MRSA?? Is that what I have and can I continue to try out natural methods please, a lovely reassuring answer I await pls I m female 35 years old many thanks !!

Hi

Perianal abscess cannot be cured just by antibiotics. You need surgical drainage. Do not worry. It is usually done under local anaethesia. However you will need antibiotic cover after that because the anal area is teeming with colonies of bacteria called commensals, which although normally do not cause trouble, in your case, they may secondarily infect the area.

I don't think you have a second abscess, it is just a recurrence of the first one. I hope your blood sugar is within normal limits, because a high blood sugar increases the chances of re-infection.

Post-surgically, you could opt for homeopathy for a permanent cure. Also, in the interim period between your consultation and surgery and also after surgery, you could swab the area with a warm solution of Calendula mother tincture, that acts as an antiseptic.

Please don't worry about MRSA. Perianal abscess is more common than we think and people get cured of it.

All the best!
