How Can A Reoccurring Buttock Cheek Cyst With Pain Be Treated?
Hello, Earlier this month I had a cyst drained on my inner butt cheek and was put on antibiotics for 10 days. The pain stopped and the swelling went down, but the cyst never fully went away. The cyst is now back and it is painful and large in size like before. Is draining it *again* my only option, and is there anyway to prevent it from coming back again?
I have studied your case and I think you are having perianal fistula. In this condition there is a tract between gut and outside skin. Till this tract is there just draining of outside cyst is not going to solve this condition. I would recommend you to show it to a surgeon who is experienced in these conditions, he might ask you to get a sinogram. In this dye is injected and tract is identified. This is not a very serious condition. if tract is present then my suggestion is that you plan for surgery . In this surgery whole this tract will be curretted and then you will receive antibiotics for infection. Try to get this surgery as soon as possible.Otherwise this swelling will never going to be completely cure. I hope this answer will be helpful to you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks.
