How Can A Tibial Plateau Fracture Be Treated?

MRI of my knee showed a tear in the lateral meniscus along with a non displaced subchondral fracture of the tibial plateau. I ve been instructed to limit weight bearing on knee and Motrin. Is this the optimum treatment for this diagnosis? Will I need surgery?

Hello,

Please note that partial tear does not need surgery. Complete tear need surgery. Avoid weight-bearing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
