General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Traumatic injury(fracture) can only led to febrile illness when it has infected . So along with fever other symptoms might be present like raised local temperature , pain, discharge, difficult walking..... etc.
So if you have above said symptom along with fever then visit orthopaedics hospital for diagnosis through clinical examination , blood investigation, pus culture and sensitivity, x rays etc. and managed accordingly .
Otherwise visit general physician for management of febrile illness

HOPE this will help. help . Feel free to ask query

Thanks n regards
