How Can Abdominal Bloating, Urinary Retention And Constipation Be Treated?

I had bronchitis prior to driving for 12 hours to meet up with some family members on a weeks vacation and feeling very tired I did not want to eat things I don't normally eat, but I ended up eating a lot of lima beans and past and sushi. I became bloated, in pain, burning pain and then that went away, but, Now I have bloating and difficulty urinating and pooping. I am not eating anything now and drinking very little water or juice as I can feel the fluid sloshing around in my stomach that won't go down and come out. I am very uncomfortable, I burp with hiccups sometimes and belch sometimes with relief, but not enough. I had taken Azithromycin 3 day pack to kill the bronchitis also, I do urinate infrequently but does not feel like enough.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome with bladder bowel problems. Retention may be due to spinal cord problems or electrolyte imbalance or neuropathy or paralytic ileus etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.
Use laxatives for constipation, take high fibre diet and exercise.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
