How Can Abdominal Bloating While On An Implanon Implant Be Treated?

Hello, I got the contraceptive implant implanon 7 months ago now and in the last week I've noticed that my stomach has become bloated, and it looks like I'm pregnant but I know I'm not, I'm starting to get conscious about it, I'm just wondering is there anything I can do at home without having to visit my GP?

Hi,

If the pregnancy is suspected then imaging study is the only option that clear the doubt for sure else the home based testing for pregnancy may not be reliable, although chances of pregnancy may be minimal or non still the symptoms has to be ruled out for that, bloating can be due to dyspepsia or infection, try to avoid the fatty, oily, fried food, avoid eating heavy meal, and stop worrying.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
