How Can Acute Constipation, Urine Odor And Bad Breath Be Treated?

I have constipation for over a week now - not one bowel movement. I am on antibiotics, benedryl, Ultram ,cymbalta to help with pain of tooth extraction. I have bad smelling urine and bad breath. I m embarrassed. I took a dulcolax tonight and I m drinking tons of water every day. I m not eating much. Can something bad happen if I don t pass bowels?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through your history and value your concern. It seems that there is nothing to worry much. Your constipation is because of the side effects of Ultram and Benadryl. Once you stop medication it will hopefully resolve. Bad smelling urine is probably because of urinary tract infection for which you should get your urine examination done.Bad breath appears to be because of tooth problem. Take plenty of fluids. keep your mouth clean with antiseptic mouth washes after every meal. Wish you fast recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
