How Can Acute Hip Pain Be Treated?

I am currently a candidate for a hip replacement, already had one replaced 7 years ago. I have been through pain management via pills, shots patches you name it. I am now to the point nothing is working. I refuse to try weed. However,I age Percocet prescribed and am finding I m needing a dose sooner than prescribed. A friend of mine gave me trauma doll and I took it not even thinking the side effects that could happen with the mixture, I just wanted some relief. I m walking without a cane, the rest room is handled, now my worry is when I sleep, will I be ok? Can these be mixed? Because I have a quality of life right now...

I have studied your case and I understand your concern that you do not want to take too many drugs. You have accidentally taken tramadol and percocet together. There is nothing harmful in it, I can assure you about that. Tramadol is a safe medicine and it is opioid derivative and it has very few side effect and its only advantage is that it is not a habit forming drug. So you can safely take it without any side effect.
Oxycodone and paracetamol combination is called as Percocet and it is also a safe medicine and it has habit forming problem. So I would suggest you to take tramadol rather then percocet. If you want to take both, there combined use some time can cause sleepiness and sedation.
