How Can Anal Fissures, Painful Defecation, Anal Itching, Rectal Bleeding Be Treated?

I believe I'm suffering from anal fissures brought on by painful defecation and sitting on the toilet too long. I have some anal itching, and at times bright red blood spots the toilet paper when I wipe. Recently a wet discharge appears from my flatulent. What over the counter medication can I use to help treat these symptoms?

Hello,

An anal fissure may cause painful defecation and bleeding. You have to eat a high fiber diet and regular exercise. Drink plenty of water. Use stool softener to prevent hard stools passing. Use diltiazem gel locally to receive anal sphincter spasm. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
