How Can Anus Area Pain With Blockage Sensations Be Treated?

I have been feeling a pain in my anal area for about 4 days now. it is not the first time it has happend (infact on and off for about 3 years now) and I have been told I have IBS but the pain is conserning me a lot. It feels like im constipated but im not and my anus/bowles hurt everytime I cough, laugh, sit down or stand up. I am passing wind with relative ease but it hurts and it feels like I have a brick blocking my anus.
I have ben to my doctors but dont feel I was listned to - she advise I take buscopan.
I just cant stand the pain in my anus anymore.

Hello,

I think you may be suffering from a fissure in anus with anal spasm. Avoid spicy food, and alcohol, avoid caffeinated drinks. Eat a high fiber diet and regular exercise, use syrup lactulose 30ml at night for five days if your constipated or suffering from hard stools.

Use diltiazem gel locally to relieve anal spam pain. If symptoms not improved, please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
