How Can Be Mucolite Drops Given To A Child?

My 2.5 month old son is having slight cough and has been sneezing from morning. Cough increases if he sleeps down straight but isnt there or is less when carried. Our doc has asked us to use the nasal saline drops and mucolite drops. How can the mucolite drops be given cause he cries when given using dropper or spoon.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Mucolite is little bitter salt . used for the thinning of mucus.
Your child need some antihistaminic drops like t minic drops along with paracetamol drops.
If cough increase one should think of adding some antibiotic with consultation of paed.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
