How Can Bleeding Through A Cut Be Stopped If It Won T Stop Bleeding?
daughter has a heroine addiction problem. She has had a heart valve replacement and is on cumadin. She recently used and came home with a large cut that will not stop bleeding. Too late for stitches they butterflied it. If it does not stop bleeding how can we fix it. Is there another medical method ?

It sounds like the wound should have been sutured and if it bleeds despite the butterfly closure that's what it would require after the bleeding was stopped with silver nitrate sticks
